Githrarith and the One-Eyed win Player of the Week award

MIDDLE EARTH - Shatai Githrarith wins his 2nd Player of the Week award. Shire Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. He hit .625 with 10 RBI and slugged 1.938 in 16 at bats. He now has homered in 5 consecutive games as well! The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Bordul the One-Eyed, Dol Guldur's starting second baseman. Bordul pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .571 with 1 HR and 4 RBI while slugging .857. Bordul is hitting .252 this year, with 89 hits in 353 at bats. He has driven in 22 runs, slugging .334.
