Lake Town's Debuugger wins Player of the Week award
MIDDLE EARTH - The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Lake Town's Silas Debuugger this time, as the shortstop displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. He had an on base percentage of .522 and hit .500, while driving in 13 runs. While compiling an on base percentage of .361, Silas hit .271 and slugged .499. He has collected 79 runs batted in this year. Minas Morgul's centerfielder Lumtina Elväwen had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named her the Mordor Conference Player of the Week. Lumtina was on fire, hitting .577 with 3 HR and 8 RBI. Her season features a batting average of .303 (132 hits in 435 AB), 26 doubles, 2 triples and 16 homeruns. Elväwen collected 72 RBI and 80 runs as well.
