Rohan's Iseomer severely injured, career probably done

ROHAN - When it rains, it pours. Rohan's lefty Legeron Iseomer will not pitch for at least 8 weeks, handing the team a huge setback. He suffered a serious injury in a game against Dol Guldur on September 6 where he left the field in the 4th inning. Iseomer was rushed to an hospital near the ballpark, where doctors took x-rays. Those revealed the serious injury, Ruptured Elbow Ligament. In 33 starts this year Legeron struck out 221 batters in 216 innings of work. His ERA is 3.58, his record 13-9. The All-Star pitcher had announced his retirement at the beginning of this season, and despite agreeing to a 1-year contract extension with the Roughriders, this will probably end his brilliant career. Iseomer's career stats are 83 wins, 53 losses, a 2.84 ERA and 1351 strikeouts. He is 4th on the all-time list for K's, 3rd in complete games (33) and 5th for shutouts with 11. He was the Gandalf Pitcher award winner in 2005, when he went 19-5 with a 1.59 ERA and 275 K's and set the league ERA record.
