Numenor wins Goblin Division!

NUMENOR - The Numenor Kings won their 3rd straight Goblin Division title by defeating Dol Guldur 7-2 on September 7. This year, Smeagol's crew ran away from the pack early and never looked back, clinching the division with 26 games left to go. They are currently 29 games ahead of rivals, Rohan and Weathertop. The Kings began their winning ways in 2004, going all the way from the Mordor Wild Card spot to become League Champs. Since then, they have won the Mordor Conference crown only once (in 2005), falling to Wild Card Rohan in the 2006 Two Towers Series and to the Misty Mountain Hops in last year's Fellowship Series. Now, they must wait for almost a month to see how they will fare in 2008. But with 2 pitchers with over 20 wins and leading the league in all pitching categories, the Kings look to be very tough in the post season.
