Lothlorien's Elrymbor wins Player of the Week award

MIDDLE EARTH - Deagol Fishslapper from Bree wins his 1st Player of the Week award for putting up the best numbers this week in the Shire Conference. He had an on base percentage of .607 and hit .607, while driving in 8 runs. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 12 game hitting streak right now. Deagol is hitting .294 this year, with 139 hits in 473 at bats. He has driven in 76 runs, slugging .482. It's the 2nd time that the Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Lothlorien's pitcher Freodriel Elrymbor. Elrymbor was overpowering all week long, going 2-0 with an ERA of 0.00. Along the way he struck out 8 in 15 innings. He hurled a shutout as well.
