Rivendell's Elfplate earns Pitcher of the Month award

MIDDLE EARTH - Mundin Elfplate couldn't have pitched much better than he did in September, and the Shire Conference thought so as well, naming the right-hander Pitcher of the Month. His ERA of just 1.60 helped him to a 5-0 record in September. He worked 45 innings, striking out 63 hitters while walking 19. Mundin also fired a shutout. Opposing players hit .178 against Mundin this season. While posting an ERA of 3.96 he went 16-10 in 31 starts, fanning 231 and walking 108 hitters. He has one complete game and one shutout. Numenor's pitcher Prilak Hammershaker is the Mordor Conference winner of the Pitcher of the Month award in September. He struck out 53 hitters in his 7 starts, putting together a record of 4-1 while pitching 53 innings. His ERA in September was 1.27. His ERA of 2.04 helped him to a 25-5 record this year. He struck out 246 and walked 46 in 278 innings. He has 6 complete games and 4 shutouts. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 1st in wins!
