Fellowship Series Matchups

MIDDLE EARTH - The long march to the post-season is over. It's down to 8 teams now. One of them is the reigning 3-time champ. One is the all-time record holder for team wins. One is the last team to win it all before Mirkwood's current streak. One has never lost a Fellowship Series. One made it to the finals in 2004. One is in the playoffs with their 3rd different manager. One has had the MVP 3 years in a row. And one is brand new to the playoffs.

Bree Cheese (92-70) vs. Mirkwood Marauders (105-57)
Mirkwood is the current league champ. They boast the league's best offense and were 3rd in runs allowed. Bree brings their super speedy attack to the table, trying to break their playoff curse.

Lake Town Archers (90-72) vs. Bucklebury Fairies (110-52)
The Fairies haven't seen post-season action since 2004 when they went all the way to the Return of the King Series. Lake Town has never lost a Fellowship Series.

Minas Morgul Slayers (93-69) vs. Numenor Kings (107-55)
The Kings have the best pitching in the world, with a 25-game and a 24-game winner. The Slayers just missed winning their division and ride the wild card into their first playoffs.

Grey Havens Stars (90-72) vs. Isengard Raiders (95-67)
The Raiders are taking their 4th trip to the playoffs under their 3rd manager. The Stars held off a late-season rally by Dead Marshes to win their division, bringing 3-time MVP Grukak Dwarfcrawler another chance for a championship.
