Stars Celebrate Victory, Reward Players

GREY HAVENS - The fantastic party Lady Arwen held last night in the famous White Pony Inn will long be remembered. Aside from the incredibly delicious foods and favored drinks of her team, she had gifts in golden lace envelopes, and special blessings made by her Elven Family for her team. They partied way into the early morning hours, and all, including this reporter, had a wonderful night. Reminiscent of the minor league banquet held just a few short days ago, where Deniagrin Eäärunduil was even given a special little golden arrow pin, as I was told by one of his friends in the major league, "Lady Arwen thinks highly of all her team." Traditionally this little elven item is given to pierce the curses and remove them from someone, all I can say is good luck with that one... It would seem the Bree Cheese injury curse has followed him to Grey Havens.

Special honors were given to each member of the team, just to name a few:

Arwen enlisted the aid of many elves to make this a special time, and there were trophies for every member of her 40 man roster. She gave Glosil Foerender, Keran Grudgesplitter and Justin Moss special medals. Lady Arwen presented one to each of them, telling the whole room of cheering team mates, "We’re in the playoffs... thanks so much", as she placed medals of honor around their necks, and handed them each a hefty envelope.

Special gifts were given to Grukak Dwarfcrawler. Arwen was heard to say, "He is one of my heroes.. Of course I have many, I am highly favored with these players, I am proud of all of them"

Arwen, standing next to, Arweowyn Beláwen, said as she placed her graceful arm upon her shoulders, "We have become friends through "The Dream’s", long and fabulous career, we have had a special Elven blessing placed upon her for this next season... we have high hopes in her this next season, and especially these playoffs!" A cheer rose high into the air from the entire team.

Begrin Starsley, as he was given his trophy, blushed, having obtained a kiss from Lady Arwen. She was very pleased with his efforts this season. And he, too, received one of those famous envelopes.

When asked why not wait till after the playoffs are secured, Arwen said, "It doesn’t matter whether my team wins the series. They are still the best team in any league, and I wanted them to know it!"

All this reporter can say is: As one of the wealthiest ladies in the league, Lady Arwen, knows how to throw a party!
