Gwaihir Reliever Awards Announced

MIDDLE EARTH - The winners of the 2008 Gwaihir Reliever Awards, given to the best relievers in each Conference, were announced today. The Shire Conference winner is Imrohil Haleogast of Bucklebury. He had a record of 7-2 with an ERA of 1.88 and 40 saves. In 63 games, he pitched 72 innings, fanning 63 and walking 15 batters. In the Mordor Conference, the winner was Numenor's Faredur Faraithor. He had a record of 3-7 with an ERA of 4.00 and 45 saves. In 72 games, he pitched 74.1 innings, fanning 59 and walking 26 batters.
