"The Walking Man" Retires
LAKE TOWN - 4-time All-Star outfielder, Denamir Eärindel, has called it quits after a 19-year career, including 7 seasons in the SGCBL. Eärindel, 38, was best known for his keen eye at the plate. He was 1st or 2nd in walks in each of his years with the Bag End Bombers and Lake Town Archers. The 2nd round pick of the Bombers in 2003, he was traded to Lake Town in 2005 and was their starting right fielder through 2008. His career walks total of 702 is 2nd highest in history.
