Aragorn MVP Winners Announced
MIDDLE EARTH - The winners of the 2008 Aragorn Most Valuable Player awards for the Shire and Mordor Conferences have been determined by ballot of the owners. In the Shire, the winner for the 2nd year in a row is Loopy Squishmasher of Rivendell. Loopy was the Sam Gamgee Batter winner, hitting .360 with 38 HR and 128 RBI. His batting average is the new Shire record, beating out Mohair Catsquisher's 2005 total of .358. Other players who received 1st place votes were Rivendell teammate, Boreathor Boraulf, Bucklebury's Scarlett Mawaan and Lake Town's Nuukor Gnomekicker.
The Mordor Conference MVP is Minas Morgul's Isilborn Imrilron. Imrilron wins his third MVP award, matching the total of Grukak Dwarfcrawler (2005-2007). Imrilron also won the Sam Gamgee Batter award, hitting .342 with 53 HR and 139 RBI. Other players receiving 1st place votes were Grey Haven's Dwarfcrawler, Gandaudur Eowoldor of Isengard and Prilak Hammershaker of Numenor.
