Devils sign Bugbearripper

DUNHARROW - The Dunharrow Devils snagged one of the top pitchers in this year's free agent pool, getting Eralak "Snortin'" Bugbearripper to sign a $15 million contract for the next 3 years. Bugbearripper, 34, was Misty Mountain's 22nd pick in the 2003 draft, and he spent the next 5 seasons in the Hops rotation, racking up wins and earning 2 trips to the All-Star Game. He was traded to Bree last season and wound up 18-8. The tough orc hurler has won 18 or more games in each of the last 4 seasons.

Dunharrow also picked up Vorseen Timbor, 31, for $3 million a year for 3 years. Timbor has spent most of his career with the Gondor Condors in the minors, but he hurled a no-hitter against Dunharrow on 9/25/2007. He was released by Lothlorien last July after going 6-5 in 19 AAA starts.
