Wargs sign relief specialist

WILDERLAND - Wilderland picked up Feli Beardworker for $6 million per year for 4 years, hoping to turn him into a closer that can get their young team through a transition period. Returning to the Wargs, Whiny the Elder is quoted as saying that he just needed someone young enough to last another 3 or 4 seasons while their talented but raw team comes together. Beardworker, 31, has been a solid bullpen worker since being acquired by the Carrock Bears in 2003. This will be his first test in the closer role.
