Bucklebury gets aging outfield star
BUCKLEBURY - 36-year-old CF Arweand "Black Bell" Belámir agreed to a minor league contract for a year to see if he could make it to the majors for one last time. Belámir started with Lonely Mountain (now Bucklebury) in 2003 and had an impressive season, racking up 114 RBI. He was traded to Old Forest in 2006. Over his career, he has hit .294 with 102 HR and 495 RBI and collected 105 SB. He is 9th on the all-time list for Hits with 1034.
