Legithraviel signs with Royals

RIVENDELL - Free agent pitcher Tavus Legithraviel signed a contract of $8.5 million per year for 4 years to return to the Royals. Nicknamed "Choker" for his lack of perfomance in the playoffs, Legithraviel has, however, had an excellent career. Rivendell drafted him 4th in 2003, and he pitched 2 seasons for the Royals, including an All-Star nod in 2004. Old Forest signed him in 2005, and he got another All-Star berth in 2006. They traded him to Misty Mountain in 2007, then last season, he was involved in a 3-way swap, first going to Moria, then Rohan. With a career record of 96-64 and an ERA of 4.03, he is 7th on the career list for wins, and his 1,186 strikeouts puts him at 15th.
