Ruano and Axesmith win Player of the Week award

MIDDLE EARTH - The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Rivendell's Boris Ruano this time, as the rightfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. In 28 at bats he hit .536 with 2 HR and 6 RBI. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 10 games. Ruano has hit for a .486 average this season. He has 9 extra base hits along with 33 total bases, resulting in a .892 slugging percentage. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in batting! The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Disil Axesmith, Numenor's starting rightfielder. Axesmith helped his team with an average of .591 and 9 RBI in 22 at bats. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 8 games. Disil is hitting .576 this year, with 19 hits in 33 at bats. He has driven in 10 runs, slugging .788. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in batting and 5th in RBI!
