MISTY MTN - Word has begun leaking out that Tanta Stinkblossom, the sweet little hobbit girl who had taken the world of Hops baseball by storm in previous years, may be dissatisfied with her treatment by Hops management. When pressed by this reporter after her most recent start, a 3-1 loss to division rivals Dead Marshes on April 7th, the ace starter sniped, "You want to know what's going on? I don't know -- go ask tall, dark and gruesome -- motioning to team manager The Witch King of Angmar -- why he pulled me after seven strong innings and ten strikeouts."

With that, she stormed off in search of some tulvenberry tarts.

When asked why he pulled her, the Witch King tossed back its head and let out a bowel-jellying screech that forced this reporter to run for over an hour in the opposite direction.

So it would appear that there is already a crisis brewing in the Hops dressing room. What this bodes for the future of Stinkblossom is unknown at this juncture, but will surely reveal itself in the weeks ahead.
