Fabur Beardcutter fires 1-hitter against Gondolin

GONDOLIN - It was a great day for Bucklebury's right-hander Fabur Beardcutter. The 29-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 1-hitter, against Gondolin on April 21. 'Giving my team a chance to win is the most important thing for me. I was able to do it today.' Beardcutter (3-1) showed excellent control, walking nobody and fanning 8. The hitting star for Bucklebury was third baseman Vrsong Swordcutter, he finished with 2 hits in 3 AB, and driving in 2 runs. Bucklebury scored 2 runs on 3 hits.
