Gabzog retires to work for charity

MORIA - All-Star third baseman, Gabzog the Obtuse, announced that he will retire to more fully devote his time to working for The Midgewater Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization formed to raise awareness of Midgwater Rickets, a devastating life-threatening disease that kills children and withers cabbages. Gabzog will serve as their annual Tele-thon host. Gabzog, who is only 24 in human terms, said that he felt it would be a far better use of his time "raising money and penicillin shots for the cure." The soft-spoken dwarf has been with the Miners since 2005, compiling a .276 batting average with 97 HR and 355 RBI. Sources inside Khazadum say this announcement had nothing to do with the recent acquisition of hot, young third baseman, Morag the Shriek.
