Gondolin's Orcdelver wins Player of the Week award

The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Mefur Orcdelver, Gondolin's starting third baseman. In 28 at bats he hit .429 with 5 HR and 9 RBI. His season numbers are: .275 AVG, 30 hits, 2 doubles, no triples and 12 bombs, along with 22 RBI and 17 runs scored. He's 8th in the Shire Conference in RBIs and 1st in homeruns! The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Rohan's Ciurk Badgerpoker this time, as the centerfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Ciurk pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .625 with 1 HR and 6 RBI while slugging 1.000.
