Dead Marshes' Elruborn wins Player of the Week award

The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Valin Graniteslinger, Mirkwood's starting first baseman. He had an on base percentage of .419 and hit .419, while driving in 13 runs. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 7 game hitting streak right now. Dead Marshes' leftfielder Eond Elruborn had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Player of the Week. In 17 at bats he hit .529 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. He has hit 4 bombs while batting .257 this season. His 19 hits and 8 walks add up to a .329 on-base percentage.
