Imrilron signs extension - Pitching shakeup expected

MINAS MORGUL - The Slayers inked an agreement with the best hitter in the league, Isilborn Imrilron. The extension likely carries him to the end of his career as it lasts for 5 years at 18 million per year. Imrilron's salary actually decreases a couple million next season, freeing up a little room under the salary cap. The Slayers also extended Floralia Earalad and Mimish Ghoulgobbler.
The team's pitching staff continues to be atrocious, outside of Elvawen. There's likely to be some major shifts in the pitching roles in an attempt to get things back on track. Ishanna Seladriel is likely to be put into the bullpen, possibly as closer, along with Arborna, while Earalad and Rule V acquisition Valdez will probably be given starting roles. There are other moves expected in shifting around bullpen roles, different pitching strategies. Eartrembler has already made his way back to the majors and Velenda could as well.
"Something isn't working, and it's time to start trying different things and different combinations. It's stupid to just stick with what isn't working. We can't keep asking our offense to score 9 runs a game. They've done exceptionally well so far, and its time the pitching picks up their game." K.L. said.
