Uruk-hai deal Elfdrinker to Old Forest

DEAD MARSHES - The Uruk-hai have traded 2-time All-Star and Legolas outfielder, Higor Elfdrinker, to Old Forest. Elfdrinker, 34, is in the last year of his $11 million contract. He was the first player drafted by Dead Marshes in the league's initial draft in 2003 and went on to appear on the 2004 and 2006 Mordor Conference All-Star teams and to win a Legolas Fielder award for left field in 2005. He is just 5 hits shy of 1,000 for his career.

In exchange for Elfdrinker and minor league catcher, Lee Yoder, Dead Marshes gets Old Forests' pitcher Russell Thoma and third baseman Mark Solis. Thoma, 26, was the 4th pick for Old Forest in 2005 and is currently with the AA Mount Doom Merrymen. Solis, 21, was the Merry Fellows' 1st round draft choice in 2007. He has been playing for the single-A North Mordor Flying Dragons.
