Pitcher of the Month award winners announced

It's the 2nd time that the Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month award goes to Mirkwood's pitcher Gwelf Goriborn. He went 6-0 in May and finished the month with an ERA of 1.86. He struck out 37 in 48.1 innings. Gwelf also fired a shutout. His ERA of 2.19 helped him to a 9-1 record this year. He struck out 67 and walked 17 in 94.1 innings. He has 2 complete games and one shutout. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in ERA and 1st in wins! Rohan's Libur Irontearer had a terrific May, and it earned him the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the month award. He started 7 games in May, going 6-1 and compiling an ERA of 2.11 in 47 innings. Libur fanned 42 hitters. In 13 starts this year Libur struck out 78 batters in 86 innings of work. His ERA is 2.72, his record 7-3. He's 7th in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 4th in wins!
