Rider and Kendrick win Player of the Week award

It's the 2nd time that the Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Carrock's second baseman Trik Rider. Trik was on fire, hitting .545 with 2 HR and 5 RBI. Randy Kendrick of Weathertop wins his 1st Player of the Week award for dominating Mordor Conference's hitters the entire week. Kendrick was overpowering all week long, going 2-0 with an ERA of 0.53. Along the way he struck out 10 in 17 innings. He hurled a shutout as well.
