Meriawyn and Camelwhisperer win Player of the Week award

Rivendell's second baseman Mororon Meriawyn had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Shire Conference Player of the Week. Mororon was on fire, hitting .500 with 4 HR and 5 RBI. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 7 game hitting streak right now. His season numbers are: .304 AVG, 84 hits, 9 doubles, one triple and 11 homeruns, along with 42 RBI and 42 runs scored. It's the 2nd time that the Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Rohan's rightfielder Abbas Camelwhisperer. He hit .529 with 6 RBI and slugged .941 in 17 at bats.
