Lake Town's Forgedelver earns Pitcher of the Month award

Gomli Forgedelver pitched like a legend in June, and the Shire Conference named him Pitcher of the Month for his extraordinary performance. He had an ERA of just 0.85 in 52.2 innings of work in which he struck out 51 hitters. His record in June is 6-1. Gomli pitched a shutout as well. This season Forgedelver compiled an ERA of 2.69, going 12-4 in 18 starts. He fanned 127 while giving up 91 hits in 123.2 innings. Gomli has pitched one shutout and one complete game. He's 6th in the Shire Conference in ERA and 3rd in wins! Andrack Antslammer couldn't have pitched much better than he did in June, and the Mordor Conference thought so as well, naming the left-hander Pitcher of the Month. He went 4-0 in June and finished the month with an ERA of 1.42. He struck out 34 in 38 innings. In 17 starts this year Andrack struck out 98 batters in 93.2 innings of work. His ERA is 2.88, his record 6-4. Andrack has pitched one shutout and one complete game.
