Rivendell has no chance in a 2-hitter by Torg Shinsnapper

BUCKLEBURY - Great days are rare. But not for Bucklebury's right-hander Torg Shinsnapper. Rivendell found out the hard way that he is among the leagues top pitchers, getting just 2 hits on August 28. It's his 5th shutout this season, and the 8th time he has done it in his career. 'I felt early that I was on top of my game. Fortunately I was able to keep that feeling the entire game.' Shinsnapper (12-12) struck out 4 and issued 1 BB, throwing 63 of 103 pitches for strikes. Bucklebury's catcher Nuurt Goblincutter went 2 for 5, homering once, stroking a double, scoring twice and driving in 2 runs. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Shinsnapper. Bucklebury scored 6 runs on 12 hits.
