Season ending injury strikes Weathertop's Bugbearripper

WEATHERTOP - Weathertop's right-hander Eralak Bugbearripper experienced probably the worst case scenario for a pitcher, a season ending injury. After pitching in the 1st inning of the game against Lothlorien on August 31, Bugbearripper complained about serious pain in his throwing arm. He had to leave the game. Doctors examined him after the game and diagnosed a Ruptured Disc Back which will require surgery. This season Bugbearripper compiled an ERA of 4.55, going 5-16 in 31 starts. He fanned 151 while giving up 173 hits in 174 innings.
