Pitcher of the Month award winners announced

Bucklebury's pitcher Torg Shinsnapper is the Shire Conference winner of the Pitcher of the Month award in August. He went 6-0 in August and finished the month with an ERA of 1.29. He struck out 40 in 49 innings. Torg fired THREE shutouts! Torg has a record of 12-12 this season, with an ERA of 3.95. In 198 Innings he was able to strike out 170 batters. Torg has pitched 5 shutouts and 6 complete games. Misty Mountain's pitcher Gwomer Grailas is the Mordor Conference winner of the Pitcher of the Month award in August. His record of 5-0 in 8 was among the leagues best this month. In 52.2 innings of work he allowed just 45 hits while striking out 53, compiling an ERA of just 2.22. His ERA of 2.21 helped him to a 16-1 record this year. He struck out 187 and walked 30 in 183 innings. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 3rd in wins!
