Camellia Baggins quiets Carrock bats with shutout
CARROCK - Camellia Baggins took the mound on September 18 and never left. And Carrock hitters couldn't touch her at all. Moria's right-hander gave up just 2 hits in her 1st shutout of the season. She now has 2 career shutouts in 70 games started. 'Winning is the most important thing. And I gave my team all the support it needed!' Baggins (7-16) was overpowering, fanning 10 while walking 1, throwing 107 pitches. Moria's catcher Nisin the Deathless got 2 hits in 4 AB, with 2 RBI. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Baggins. Moria improved its record to 50-102, scoring 4 runs on 9 hits.
