Mirkwood stages amazing comeback!

MIRKWOOD - Down 3-games-to-0, the former league champions did not go down to the sweep. In fact, they won 4 straight games to defeat the Gorgoroth Balrogs in 7 games! In Game 1, Ban Arwodur pitched a gem, giving the Balrogs the 3-1 win. It was all Gorgoroth in Game 2, as the Balrogs won 10-0. Arwealbo Arweoden and Hallalon Brilhirion hooked up in a classic pitchers duel in Game 3, with Gorgoroth winning it, 1-0. In Game 4, Mirkwood avoided the sweep with a 4-1 victory. Then, in Game 5, the Marauders exploded for 12 runs, winning it 12-5. Game 6 was another Arweoden-Brilhirion duel. This time, Brilhirion came out on top, with the Marauders winning, 4-1. Finally, in Game 7, Mirkwood completed its historic comeback by scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th and going on to win it, 8-2.
