Hops defeat RoughRiders in Fellowship Series

MISTY MTN - With every game hanging on 1 run, the Misty Mountain Hops hung on to defeat Rohan in 7 games to win the right to go to their 3rd Two Towers Series. Game 1 was a classic pitchers duel, with the Hops winning the game, 1-0, in 11 innings on an Olthor Eowind homerun. Rohan won Game 2, 6-5, with 3 runs in the 7th. The RoughRiders won Game 3, 7-6, to take the series lead. Game 4 was a 7-5 win for the Hops, when they scored 4 runs in the top of the 9th to tie the series. Rohan won Game 5, 4-1, as the two staff aces, Libur Irontearer and Tanta Stinkblossom hooked up. In Game 6, the Hops squeaked out a win when Tathor Legaldur socked an 11th inning homer. Finally, in Game 7, Misty Mountain won the series with another 7-6 win, scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th for the victory.
