Goriborn and Stinkblossom receive Gandalf Pitcher Award

Awards may not be the most important thing for Gwelf Goriborn, but Mirkwood's right-hander smiled as he was named the Shire Conference Gandalf Pitcher Award winner. This season Goriborn compiled an ERA of 2.47, going 24-5 in 35 starts. He fanned 182 while giving up 223 hits in 258.1 innings. Gwelf has pitched 2 shutouts and 6 complete games. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in ERA and 1st in wins! Misty Mountain's left-hander Tanta Stinkblossom was untouchable all year long. Her work paid off today as the Mordor Conference named her the Gandalf Pitcher Award winner! In 41 starts this year Tanta struck out 305 batters in 284.1 innings of work. Her ERA is 2.82, hwe record 22-11. She has 2 complete games and 2 shutouts. She's 8th in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 1st in wins!
