Slayers confined to city

MINAS MORGUL - In hopes of keeping the players safe in light of the vicious attacks suffered just this week, the Slayers have asked that all players in the Minas Morgul active roster remain in Minas Morgul. All minor league affiliates have been asked to keep their players confined to the nearby areas of those cities as well.

"It's unfortunate. It's the first time something like this happened to anyone in this league. My sympathies go out to all the organizations that had victims in this incident." KL spoke.

The horrible news broke up a meeting in which the Slayers were appearantly contemplating a name change vaguely mentioned late last season among other things.

"Everything just stopped as the messenger read the report. We felt we had to act immediately on this and that everything else could wait." One official spoke.

Fortunately, no other attacks or injuries have taken place and the team expressed how fortunate they were that all their players were safe.

"We had players playing winterball as well as doing their thing in the offseason. We were fortunate to have no victims, but it just as easily could have been any of our players." K.L. spoke.
