Weathertop's *Plant severely injured, out for season

WEATHERTOP - Weathertop's southpaw Robert *Plant will not pitch again this year, suffering a serious injury in the game against Dunharrow on May 14. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Torn Tricep Muscle. Surgery will be performed next week. His ERA of 4.87 helped him to a 2-3 record this year. He struck out 40 and walked 16 in 44.1 innings.
