Mirkwood's Calafalas wins Player of the Week award

The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Mirkwood's Idril Calafalas this time, as the centerfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Idril went 14 for 26 (.538), while hitting 1 HR and collecting 11 RBI. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 7 game hitting streak right now. It's the 1st time that the Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Rohan's shortstop Posco *Sackville. *Sackville helped his team with an average of .565 and 7 RBI in 23 at bats. While compiling an on base percentage of .347, Posco hit .308 and slugged .415. He has collected 32 runs batted in this year.
