Goldilocks-Gonzalez Trade

ROHAN - Rohan and league officials in charge of maintaining the Gondolin franchise came to an agreement today that sends 1B Elanor Goldilocks to the Griffons in exchange for infielder Osvaldo "Speedy" Gonzalez.

Goldilocks, 24, has been in the Roughriders' minor league system since 2003 when she was just 18. She is hitting .302 with 13 HR and 35 RBI for the AAA Pleasant Vale Stallions. In 2007, she was involved in the mysterious magical incident that gave her the abilities of Gonzalo Abadia, who was taken by Gondolin in that year's Rule V draft. He now plays for the AA Eregion Eagles.

Gonzalez, 25, was the 1st pick for Silvan (Gondolin) in 2006. He has become a backup infielder, playing at second and third. He is hitting .268 with 3 HR and 14 RBI in 34 games this season.
