Frodo Chubb fires 2-hitter against Bucklebury
BUCKLEBURY - Frodo Chubb had some fun again. Bucklebury hitters did not. Old Forest's left-hander gave up just 2 hits in his 1st shutout of the season on June 9. He now has 2 career shutouts in 167 games started. 'I had my stuff going. Everything I tried worked. What a day!' Chubb (5-5) was overpowering, fanning 10 while walking 1, throwing 100 pitches. Old Forest's centerfielder Peromer Moraman went 1 for 3, doubling once, with 2 RBI. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Chubb. Old Forest scored 4 runs on 6 hits.
