Minas Morgul's Chubb wins Player of the Week award

Moria's centerfielder Moran Alcarin had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Shire Conference Player of the Week. Alcarin helped his team with an average of .467 and 10 RBI in 30 at bats. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 11 games. The Mordor Conference's best player of the week was Minas Morgul's Tanta Chubb, who wins the award for the 3rd time in his career. Chubb helped his team with an average of .481 and 8 RBI in 27 at bats. His season features a batting average of .202 (50 hits in 247 AB), 5 doubles, one triple and 12 bombs. Chubb collected 37 RBI and 37 runs as well.
