Minas Tirith has no chance in a 2-hitter by Scarlett *II

BUCKLEBURY - It was a great day for Bucklebury's right-hander Scarlett *II. The 25-year old recorded her first career shutout on June 25, a 2-hitter, against Minas Tirith on Saturday. Scarlett (8-3) struck out 7 and issued 1 BB, throwing 54 of 86 pitches for strikes. 'I'll have to give a lot of credit to my catcher. He put all the right fingers down today.' Samwise Peatfingers provided Bucklebury with the offense Scarlett needed as he went 1 for 4, hitting a homerun, and collecting 3 RBI. The final score of the game was 3-0.
