Rivendell's *Squishmasher earns Batter of the Month award

The Shire Conference's best player of the month was Rivendell's Loopy *Squishmasher, who wins the award for the 4th time in his career. He had an on base percentage of .466 and hit .426, while driving in 28 runs. Loopy has gone 109 for 293 (.372) this season, hitting 21 longballs and driving in 69 runs. He has scored 52 runs on his own. He's 2nd in the Shire Conference in batting, 6th in homeruns and 1st in RBI! It's the 3rd time that the Mordor Conference Batter of the Month award goes to Grey Havens' first baseman Golligast Gandulbo. In 86 at bats he hit .360 with 6 HR and 24 RBI. His season numbers are: .262 AVG, 75 hits, 12 doubles, one triple and 15 bombs, along with 49 RBI and 50 runs scored.
