Lothlorien-Minas Morgul Trade

MINAS MORGUL - The Slayers entered into a deal to send pitcher, Garadorn Evermind, to Lothlorien in exchange for infielder, Clement Padron and the Lumberjacks' 3rd round draft pick. Evermind, 25, started in the Rohan farm system in 2003 before being traded to Minas Morgul last season. He started a few games for the RoughRiders in 2007-2008, but has mainly been a minor leaguer. Currently, he is 7-2 with a 3.67 ERA for the AAA Nurn Demons.

Padron, 21, is a hot young infielder for Lothlorien's single-A Belfalas Bounty club. Picked in the 4th round by Gondor (Lothlorien) in 2007, he can play 1B, 2B and 3B and has a .338 average with 17 HR this season.
