Grey Havens' Brickfist wins Player of the Week award

Bucklebury's leftfielder Samwise Peatfingers had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Shire Conference Player of the Week. Peatfingers helped his team with an average of .474 and 9 RBI in 19 at bats. While compiling an on base percentage of .388, Samwise hit .315 and slugged .581. He has collected 121 runs batted in this year. He's 7th in the Shire Conference in batting, 1st in homeruns and 1st in RBI! Bror Brickfist wins his 1st Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Bror went 10 for 21 (.476), while hitting 2 HR and collecting 5 RBI. Brickfist has hit for a .267 average this season. He has 23 extra base hits along with 121 total bases, resulting in a .443 slugging percentage.
