Rivendell's Elfplate severely injured

RIVENDELL - Rivendell's pitcher Mundin Elfplate was part of a scary incident that saw the right-hander being hit by a line drive in the 3rd inning of the game between Rivendell and Minas Tirith on April 6. Team trainers immediately rushed onto the field after the frightening scene. Elfplate will miss about 5 weeks. Doctors examined him after the game and diagnosed a Broken Hand which will require surgery.
