Parin Saphirecryer pitches 1-hit shutout against Dunharrow

DAGORLAD - Dagorlad's lefty Parin Saphirecryer will never forget this day. The 27-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 1-hitter, against Dunharrow on April 29. Saphirecryer (3-1) struck out 8 and walked none, throwing 58 of 93 pitches for strikes. 'My catcher called a very good game. I have to give credit to him.' Isembard Ploughman provided Dagorlad with the offense Saphirecryer needed as he collected 3 hits in 5 trips to the plate, hitting two dingers, scoring 2 runs and collecting 4 RBI. The final score of the game was 11-0.
