Season ending injury strikes Lake Town's Peatfingers
LAKE TOWN - Lake Town's lefty Sancho Peatfingers experienced probably the worst case scenario for a pitcher, a season ending injury. After pitching in the 7th inning of the game against Old Forest on May 1, Peatfingers complained about serious pain in his throwing arm. He had to leave the game. Doctors examined him after the game and diagnosed a Torn Rotator Cuff Muscle which will require surgery. Opposing players hit .219 against Sancho this season. While posting an ERA of 3.23 he went 3-2 in 6 starts, fanning 50 and walking 5 hitters.
