Minas Morgul's Chubb wins Player of the Week award
The Shire Conference's best player of the week was Bywater's Lester Pulley, who wins the award for the 1st time in his career. Lester went 12 for 28 (.429), while hitting 2 HR and collecting 10 RBI. This year Pulley drove in 40 and scored 30 runs while batting .322 with 9 longballs. The Mordor Conference's best player of the week was Minas Morgul's Tanta Chubb, who wins the award for the 4th time in her career. Chubb helped her team with an average of .455 and 8 RBI in 22 at bats. Chubb has walked 12 times this year and posts a .369 OBP. While batting .322, 56 for 174, she has driven in 34 runs. She's 3rd in the Mordor Conference in batting, 4th in homeruns and 5th in RBI!
