Bugrin Spinner fires 2-hitter against Dagorlad

BYWATER - Bugrin Spinner took the mound on July 8 and never left. And Dagorlad hitters couldn't touch him at all. Bywater's right-hander gave up just 2 hits in his 2nd shutout of the season. He now has 2 career shutouts in 150 games started. 'I had my stuff going. Everything I tried worked. What a day!' Spinner (6-7) was overpowering, fanning 12 while walking 3, throwing 110 pitches. Bywater's designated hitter Lula Taralom finished 2 for 4, blasting a homerun, hitting a double, scoring 2 runs and collecting 2 RBI. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Spinner. Bywater scored 5 runs on 10 hits.
