Misty Mountain has no chance in a 1-hitter by Prilak Hammershaker

NUMENOR - Numenor's right-hander Prilak Hammershaker is a great pitcher. And he once again showed his stuff, blanking Misty Mountain on just one hit on July 31. It's his 2nd shutout this season, and the 17th time he has done it in his career. 'I felt early that I was on top of my game. Fortunately I was able to keep that feeling the entire game.' Hammershaker (10-10) struck out 8 and issued 1 BB, throwing 68 of 100 pitches for strikes. Numenor's third baseman Wong Trollraper finished with 2 hits in 3 AB, hitting a double. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Hammershaker. Numenor improved its record to 55-52, scoring 4 runs on 10 hits.
